    ABOUT THIS SESSION:

Microsoft is on a multi-year journey to migrate product and pricing data from legacy systems into an agile, rules-based framework hosted on SAP. As we review our legacy data, we are finding strong rule patterns, and then patterns of patterns, which we are implementing in a layered hierarchical framework that provides our business the agility we require to meet changing business needs. We are also growing stronger business process, with rules stewardship. We are collecting metrics on improved agility, quality, and scalability to demonstrate business value for IT investments.
