Business Process Practitioner Panel: Leveraging Business Process Management in the Government

ABOUT THIS SESSION:

This panel of government executives will examine current experience, best practices and lessons learned with process management tools and methods.  Discussed will be strategies for gaining executive sponsorship, the role of Centers of Excellence and Program Management Offices, aligning process management to transformation initiatives, and distinguishing between process improvement programs, process modeling, and process automation.  Also discussed will be the role of process management in supporting core missions, as well new mandates such as compliance with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and the “Three Pesky Questions” faced with any new investment.
