ABOUT THIS SESSION:
Simply by considering process, rules and information needs independently offers a compelling opportunity to transform case management work practices and systems. Organizations that adjudicate cases that support applications for privileges or benefits must strike a balance between performing work efficiently, capturing the right amount of knowledge to support their decisions and ensuring that decisions are compliant with appropriate directives. This session explores the role that business rules can provide as a framework to organize business process work and knowledge capture to support efficient, compliant and defensible decision making.
Learn how reconsidering the roles of process, rules and knowledge:

Allows systems to work the way people work
Supports the standardization and simplification of managing work processes
Minimizes information capture to reach a decision
Organizes individual process ‘fragments’ into an overall case management framework
