Two of the questions we are asked consistently about business rules management is “How do you get buy in from leadership and executive staff?” and “How do you show or measure ROI and value?” In this facilitated session, we invite participants to engage in a peer discussion regarding what they have done to answer these key questions, and in the process gain insight and ideas from others on how to get your rule initiatives approved and keep the momentum going by clearly demonstrating the value of business rules.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR(s):
Kelly Karlen is an independent consultant and Business Rules Solutions, LLC associate, with over 20 years of experience in the health care and health insurance domains. Over the course of her career, she developed, implemented and managed a team of business analysts that specialized in Business Process and Business Rule Management, where she had a direct accountability for “selling the value” to business and IT managers, as well as executive staff. Kelly has had the opportunity to present her practical and applied business process and rules experiences at various conferences and forums, such as the Gartner BPM Summit, PegaWorld and past Business Rules Forums.
