    ABOUT THIS SESSION:

There is no doubt that Federal IT budgets are again under attack. Starting with Executive OrderM-10-25, a memorandum which highlights the Federal Government's efforts to control large IT projects, the current administration has adopted an uncompromising position against waste in IT spending.

In this talk, we will discuss how Federal IT teams can improve project cost and performance with the Business Rules Approach. In order to achieve the higher standards dictated by the rigorous review process, methods will be presented for quickly identifying and correcting the problems that plague Federal IT projects.

    What you will learn:

    • A 10 point check list for ranking the effectiveness, agility, and modernity of business modelling
    • The critical process modelling metaphors that achieve high performance
    • Setting up performance metrics for achieving business agility
    • How the Business Rules Approach can provide massive productivity to IT - at any stage
    • How these metaphors create a "Time-To-Value" within a 90 to 120 time window
