Large successful enterprises originally established using a traditional functional organization find it difficult to make the transition to one organized around business process thus limiting their potential improvements in associated business performance.
The presenter has experienced the challenges associated with this predicament and witnessed various failed attempts to move to a more business process focused business. He is finally at a place in where a foothold has been achieved in a significant business that is growing profitably where the senior leaders are supportive and accountable for the future evolution of the business process management. He will explain the circumstances and the actions that have been necessary to get to this place and a blueprint for how this may be achieved elsewhere.
