She has won awards for her volunteerism and research and continues to give back daily to her community both domestically and internationally.

Jon Buttriss is CEO of BCS Learning & Development and has spent 30-years achieving success in the international information technology, skills and development industries. Passionate about success, he has a genuine fascination with the integration of learning and technology for the long-term benefit of people and the development of organisations.

Having built his first computer as a 10 year old, Jon started his working career as a simulations programmer working on a range of industrial and military projects. He moved to leading transformational change programmes at Abbey. By integrating technology and the latest technologies, Jon's team successfully changed the speed and efficiency of sales, compliance and product training to Abbey's retail network and helped deliver real growth to the business. With the advent of the internet Jon took the opportunity to move international and through various global board director positions he took advantage of the opportunities the internet and the new markets it enabled, creating over 630% growth in Thomson NETg's top line. Latterly Jon was MD at REED Learning where he was able to use his analysis, leadership and portfolio skills to successfully implement a £30m outsourcing contract to deliver all of RBS learning and development requirements in the UK. This provided cost savings to RBS of over 46% in 2013.

 Andrea  Baldwin

Andrea Baldwin

Partner, Advisory

Andrea has worked as a strategy consultant in the Toronto region since 1999. Her focus is on helping retail and consumer-facing companies develop and operationalize strategy with a specialization in transformational change. Andrea joined KPMG as part of the acquisition of SECOR Consulting in 2012.

Andrea brings many perspectives to her work including nine years at Boston Consulting Group, four years with Canada's Foreign Service and three years leading a non-profit dedicated to advancing corporate social responsibility.

Andrea advises executives and their teams on significant strategic choices and the resulting transformational change management. Andrea uses an established methodology to operationalize strategy that ensures alignment across the business and operating model. Her approach to change management is particularly effective with large organizations including businesses with local operations or franchises.

Her strength as an advisor is the combination of deep strategy expertise, strong program management skills and change management experience.

Throughout her career, Andrea has written various papers and participated in speaking engagements related to social enterprise and innovation. She is involved in public policy issues and currently sits as a member of the Toronto Atmospheric Fund's Investment Committee.

Stephen Ashworth

President / CEO

With nearly three decades of experience in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, Stephen brings a diverse background of organizational, strategic and collaborative leadership skills to IIBA®. Stephen joined IIBA® in March 2014 as the President and CEO to guide IIBA® and reshape the future of the global business analysis community.

In his role, Stephen leads a team of over 30 global staff to support the delivery of key activities, services and resources to over 28,000 Members and over 110 Chapters.

In addition to owning and operating several businesses, Stephen is an accomplished author and recognized leader on issues relating to higher education, curriculum and leadership.

For over six years Stephen was a senior leader with Junior Achievement of Canada in a variety of roles, including acting President and CEO. During his time with Junior Achievement, Stephen was involved in a variety of aspects of the organization’s operations, corporate partnership, financials, education, program development, communications and events.

In 2013, Stephen received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his dedication and commitment to helping prepare youth for their future success.  

Stephen is committed to helping reshape the future for IIBA®, its Members, Chapters and Partners.
