Rapid Alignment — Expediting Project Launches with Facilitation Best Practices
Have you ever experienced project stakeholder misalignment? Project launches are often bogged down because stakeholders don’t share the same vision, can’t come to an agreement on the problem being solved, and are faced with lots of documentation which no one wants to read. Nationwide Insurance fixed these problems using best practice facilitation techniques to effectively initiate the software development life cycle. Non-productive meetings were transformed into highly productive, engaging sessions which enabled stakeholders to gain alignment. Come join us to learn how Nationwide saved over $4 million since 2014 utilizing this repeatable facilitated process.
- How to encourage participation, collaboration, and consensus through facilitated sessions.
- Demonstration of the use of large visuals, best practice facilitation techniques and model use of standardized spaces to promote participant engagement and peer to peer interactions.
- Demonstration of Nationwide’s 21 critical project start up activities as well as lessons learned which feed our continuous improvement. Participants will be encouraged to discuss how they would adapt the techniques in their own initiatives as well as share similar techniques they’ve used in the past.
