Implementing and managing traceability presents a unique challenge to Business Analysts; regardless of complex waterfall methodology projects or Agile methodology projects. In this session we will explore "What is traceability?", how to configure end-to-end traceability, and how get the desired traceability matrix output to pass regulatory compliance & organizational audits with flying colors!
Additionally we will learn how to preserve application knowledge for the inevitable staffing changes in rapidly progressing agile projects.
You will also learn how to build a comprehensive knowledge repository with User Stories, Business Rules, Requirements, Use Cases & Business Processes to become the single source of truth for all stakeholders; current and future. We will also see how to conduct rapid online reviews and approvals with digital signatures for collaboration and compliance.
Ashu Potnis began his career thirty years ago typing COBOL code on mainframe "character mode" screens. In 1996 he co-developed SQL Navigator, a popular tool for Oracle databases.
In the past decade Ashu has helped implement requirements management tools and related processes at over one hundred organizations worldwide in his consulting assignments that have taken him across four continents. An electrical engineer by training, Ashu guides product direction at TechnoSolutions Corporation based in Vancouver, Washington, USA.
