This case study will walk the audience through how Cisco combines a rule engine and Smart Data to make a significant impact in our global services business. We will begin by defining several different types of Smart Data. Next, we will cover the pitfalls of traditional data and how we create “perfect data” that builds the foundation of our Smart Data analytics program. Last, we will demonstrate how we leverage this data and create the business levers that our management team uses to drive our global business.

    • Identifying synergy between your rule engine and analytics program
    • Turning fuzzy business concepts into Smart Data that allow management to drive the business
    • Making data and analytics relevant to the people who can fund the programs
